This road case is built specifically for the CHAUVET Rogue R3 Beam, a heavy LED beam fixture with a solid base and a large moving head. These fixtures are powerful on stage but not exactly friendly to carry by hand, especially when you’re moving them repeatedly during a tour. This case gives them a secure home, with EVA‑lined compartments that keep the fixtures stable and protected during transport.

Although designed around the Rogue R3 Beam, the internal layout can also accommodate similar heavy LED beam fixtures from other brands. As long as the dimensions and yoke structure are comparable, the foam‑lined compartments provide a snug fit with only minor adjustments. This flexibility makes the case useful for rental houses, touring productions, and mixed‑brand inventories.

Built with Durable Materials and a Precision‑Driven Manufacturing Process

The case is constructed from 9mm WBP birch veneer laminated plywood, chosen for its ability to handle the unpredictable mix of heat, moisture, and general wear that comes with touring. The panels are bonded with phenolic resin glue, giving them strength and stability. Paired with 2mm heavy‑duty corner and edge extrusions and a combination of Penn Elcom and Armor hardware, the case feels solid from the moment you grab the handles.

Every panel, divider, and foam insert is precision‑cut using CNC machinery. This ensures that everything fits together cleanly and consistently, from the hinged lid to the EVA‑lined compartments. Once the components are cut, our experienced assembly team takes over. They follow a standard QC process that checks alignment, hardware installation, foam fit, and overall finish. The process is consistent across our product line, but each case still receives individual attention to ensure it performs the way it should.

Functional Features That Make Transporting Heavy Beam Fixtures Easier

The hinged top lid opens fully, giving you quick access to both fixture compartments. Inside, thick EVA foam surrounds the fixtures, helping isolate vibration and reduce shaking during transport. This is especially important for moving‑head fixtures, which benefit from extra cushioning to protect their internal components.
