This road case is built specifically for the CHAUVET COLORado PXL Bar 16, a one‑meter‑long pixel‑mappable LED batten with a motorized tilt head and sixteen RGBW emitters. These fixtures are powerful, versatile, and—let’s be honest—slightly awkward to carry without proper support. This case holds four of them securely, giving touring crews a reliable way to move and protect their gear.

Although designed for the PXL Bar 16, the internal layout can also accommodate similar long LED battens from other brands. Fixtures with comparable dimensions and tilt mechanisms usually fit with only minor adjustments. Touring setups often mix equipment, and this case is built with that flexibility in mind.

Every panel, divider, and foam insert is precision‑cut using CNC machinery. This ensures that everything fits together cleanly and consistently, from the accessory compartment to the EVA‑lined fixture slots. Once the parts are cut, our experienced assembly team takes over. They follow a standard QC process that checks alignment, hardware installation, foam fit, and overall finish. The process is consistent across our product line, but each case still gets individual attention to ensure it performs the way it should.

Functional Features That Make Touring Life Easier

The top hinged lid opens quickly and gives full access to the interior, making it easy to load and unload four battens without juggling a removable lid. Inside, thick EVA foam lines the compartments and the lid, keeping the fixtures cushioned and stable. A detachable foam block on the lid adds extra protection and helps speed up the loading process.

A dedicated accessory room sits on the right side of the case, offering a 109mm‑wide space for cables, clamps, or anything else that needs to travel with the battens. The layout keeps everything organized and prevents accessories from shifting into the fixture compartments. A label dish on the lid makes identification quick during busy load‑ins.

Mobility is handled by solid wheels and well‑placed recessed handles, making the case surprisingly easy to move despite the weight of four battens inside.
